Montecarlo Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Montecarlo Restaurant, you’re gently drawn into a seaside rhythm that feels unhurried and warmly open. Paddle boats and sunny skies sit just beyond the glass, while the ambient hum of the nearby walkway mingles with soft conversations and the occasional clink of glasses. This is a spot where the outdoors plays a quiet but essential role—a place to savor not just a meal, but a view that stretches out effortlessly to the ocean’s edge.
The pace here leans towards relaxed and contemplative. Whether you’re nestled inside or perched closer to the water, the atmosphere invites you to pause, breathe, and let the day unfold slowly. It’s a place where time seems to stretch, encouraging you to linger over the subtle pleasures of good company, fresh air, and thoughtfully prepared dishes.
On the menu, familiar flavors meet the comforting ease of classic Mediterranean inspiration. From simple yet soulful bruschettas to pasta lovingly dressed in vibrant sauces, each bite carries a sense of honest craftsmanship. Whether you are sipping a well-mixed sangria brimming with summer fruit or savoring a tender lemon chicken dish, the experience feels heartfelt rather than rushed. Cocktails and local wines add unexpected moments of brightness, enhancing the gentle seaside atmosphere rather than rushing it.
The charm of Montecarlo is deeply tied to its setting—the expansive views, the soft coastal breezes, and the casual, almost effortless connection between guests and the surrounding beach town life. Service, while understated at times, blends into the background just enough to keep the focus on the human moments happening around you—friends sharing stories, couples quietly watching the waves, and solitary visitors soaking in the peaceful, ocean-kissed space.
If you are looking for a place that celebrates the simple joy of dining by the sea without pretense, where the mood is defined by light, warmth, and a slow west coast afternoon, Montecarlo offers a welcoming invitation to connect with the moment.

This place is all about the atmosphere! Sitting alone the ocean is an amazing experience. It is beautiful. The chicken croquets were delicious. The garlic prawns were more small shrimp than prawns, but tasted good. The pizza was just okay, but had great crust. Service was just okay. It is hard to get service because your back is to the restaurant and across the walking path, but it was still a good experience.

Great location. Waiter was fine. Srarters of bruschetta caprese and garlic prawns were very good. Diavola Pizza was ok but lacking heat ... a diavola should pack a punch. Prices fair. Overall 8/10

We visited recently and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, our table wasn’t set up when we arrived, and one of the servers didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic, which was a little disappointing. That said, the setting was beautiful with amazing views, which really added to the atmosphere. For drinks, the mojito was excellent—refreshing and well-balanced. The Hugo spritz, however, wasn’t as enjoyable, with an artificial taste and scent that reminded us more of air freshener than a cocktail. The food was tasty; we ordered the linguine Frutti di Mare, which had great flavor but came in a smaller portion than expected, so I’d recommend saving room for dessert to round off the meal. Prices were fair for the quality and location.

10/10 had some brunch, we had la tarentina mussels and Palma brushetta , a couple of grande cerveza and some chips, with a visit when in Tenerife. Great views too

Amazing Italian restaurant by the seaside in Tenerife. The view is just brilliant. The food and the drinks do not disappoint either. We ordered Salmon grill with prawns and vegetarian pasta. Cocktails were Sangria and Limoncello. All of them were brilliant and we sat in the restaurant for almost 2 hours enjoying the view. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. Although the service was pretty slow as we got the menu cards almost after 20 minutes! Maybe they can improve this a bit else it’s perfect!

An overall okay restaurant, get what you pay for. The calamari felt really dry and hard so could only assume was frozen which was a shame for €12. Burger was pretty good but nothing too special. This being said, all the other food was reasonably priced for what it was, probably wouldn’t go back anytime soon but does the job if you’re hungry near the beach. Service was speedy and helpful which was lovely!

Fabulous garlic prawns here. Fresh, cooked perfectly. Staff very professional. Especially the guy in the cap. Reasonable too . We went back for more the next day. All 6 dishes were great. Well done to this restaurant
